Angie and Everyone - has anyone tried on the JP jacket? Thoughts? I don't usually buy unlined jackets but if would fill a casual blazer niche. I'd love any info on quality and sizing. Thanks!! ETA: and the MMK long duster too. If anyone has tried that. Thanks.

Why not try it and see? You can always return it. Unless returning is an issue. I know some areas have issues with tariffs and such.

I have two fleece James Perse jackets (one moto, one a field style), and the way they are cut is very nice (not just like two pieces of sweatshirt sewn together). Of course they're also comfortable. If my field jacket wasn't black, I'd be tempted by this one, too.

Deborah - how wonderful to catch you on!! I miss you!! Hope all is well down under. Yes, it's very dramatic. May have to try it. Just trying to hedge my bets on fit and quality. I am trying to make savvy and picky choices!! Hugs!
Thistle - Wise as always, smart girl. No I am USA and new jersey. I pop it back in the mail, no problem. Just trying to be pickier. My first NAS my husband almost fainted when the credit card bill arrived, although almost everything went back, so I"ve tried to be more selective since them!!
UmmLila - that's great to hear. and thank you for the input. Does JP run TTS or small? I'm always cautious of knits since sometimes they run small. It does look very comfortable!! I'm usually a size 4-6, in most designers a sz 6, I would probably try his size "2" if it's TTS

Seen the MK duster. It's a top pick. Good dramatic look if you like black. Best worn open. Lightweight. Length will work on a petite if you're broad shouldered and not that petite.

I thought the EF sweater coat was much more chic and beautifully made. Runs a size or two big. Thick and warm.

Angie thank you so much. Can the EF be worn as a blazer? I run very cold and, as we've chatted about, wear light "coats" as blazers frequently. It would be work and indoor so I'd wear a "coat" over it in cold weather. If that makes sense!! Or how many layers can gryffin wear (requiring super huge coats, but that's another story!!) Thanks again!!! PS much of my current wardrobe is EF. Gorgeous fabric if you can find things tailored enough, love.

I've always been happy w EF quality but I wouldn't have considered this without your input. I'll let you know how it looks on if it's available

Lisa - high 5 to another on team cold. It's the highlight of winter warm snuggly clothing. OTOH, I'm still enjoying warm summer. But this does make me long for my winter clothes!!

I am crossing fingers that the sweater coat will work. The thing about it is that while it would not fill the Gibson blazer hole in the sense of being a jacket, it would or could fill the dressy-to-casual or very polished casual hole. And also the comfort would be great. Plus...when her styles work, they work sensationally -- just the details of the cut. So, let's hope!

Thank you Suz. That will be my splurge. I do well with EF. And yes, it's not the Gibson nor does it fill that role but elegant and very unusual jackets like that are incredibly versatile. I could see it at work and at play with leather leggings. I"ll update and review if I'm able to order. I may have to bite the bullet and apply for a Nordies card despite the issues on identity watch. It's a good thing and a pain at the same time. Looking forward to hearing how things go with your order and hoping you'll get to try and burberry on. Very stunning!!
