I haven't had much time these days to shop online, but I did take advantage of recent sales to order items that grab more attention--things you'd never think you'd wear until suddenly, they seem interesting.

This jacket was in my cart for awhile before I ordered it. It reminded me an IRO silver leather jacket with white shearling that I had wanted last year, but didn't deem necessary. All-black seemed more versatile and more durable than metallic silver, and I didn't spend enough time outside to think this kind of splurge necessary. This year, with my new commute, a shearling leather jacket would be really practical, though technically still unnecessary in a world of parkas and puffers.

When Cyber Monday hit, I decided to try this jacket out. It's a fun jacket that breaks the monotony of my tiny nursing/work wardrobe. It was the last one, and may be a size too big, though I don't think sizing down would result in a more comfortable fit. I'm wearing a merino shirt underneath here, and it feels quite cozy, though the arms feel slightly stiff.

If people here think it's good enough, I'd consider keeping it. My concern is that the silver leather might crack and flake off, as happened to a Philip Lim clutch of mine, but the jacket seems well made otherwise.
