Backwards and inside-out look jeans are very much back here.Pocket on front, zip on back - And I am truly traumatized by it. - they did not look good in the 90s and they do not look good now!

My dormmate is obsessed with them, and while I was out looking for bedding I saw a few shops selling, and a few girls (and guys!) wearing them. Pics from internet as recent exemplars.

Mostly I just want to know what you all think of this trend - yay for comeback, nay for no way! Leave comments if you want to

May i ask where you are (generally)? I have not heard of this trend. Im sure there are some young girls who can rock this...but it just pulls the eye to an area i generally try to hide.

No! I think it is terrible, but if I was 20 I would probably think otherwise. I also hate it when you wear a denim shorts and the bags are comming underneath it. Than the shorts are to ....short...... Don't know if I say that correctly...

This is fun and funny if you are young and rebellious. It makes very little sense to me aesthetically or practically, but I'm way past the expiration date for this kind of thing.

OK, where was I hiding when this came around? Because I have never seen this before…or I blocked it out of my memory. I can't say I'm a fan. This is one of those things like the "trend" of wearing a bra outside your shirt. Like, sure, you can, but why? It just looks like the wearer forgot how to dress themselves.

I don't know how anyone couldn't think they were stylish or cool. They look like the people just stumbled out of bed.

Celebrating Spirit Week this week at my 10 YO DD's school. Yesterday's theme-Wacky Wednesday-wear your clothes wrong-side out and backwards. These would work well.

I can kinda, if I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt, see the backwards jeans look working on young guys, since they have a little bit of volume both in the back and front, and it's no worse than sagging/low-riding which don't bother me much as super casual wear.

I really can't see it working on women as something you would wear outside at all though. Inside out jeans? Without the white pockets maayyybe. That logo though smh.

Those "Outies" jeans were kickstarted as a Back to the Future reference. They're more a novelty/cosplay item than an actual trend.

Well, I've found myself wearing my yoga pants inside out and once even backwards , so I say nothing here . If you see me like this on the street though- you are allowed to intervene .

No. But with my butt getting flatter as I age, and the front growing instead, maybe these would fit me better. . .

Ran into a friend at the library today. The staff at her elderly mom's assisted living place called her to say that her mom had put on her panties (knickers as Angie would say) on the OUTSIDE of her slacks and wouldn't allow them to change her. Her mom thought they objected because the panties were white. I told her that when my grandma immigrated at the turn of last century, she and her cohorts thought that the corsets and the like were so pretty, they wore them on the OUTSIDE of their clothes -- predating Madonna by 100 years. You don't wear a corset under a kimono after all. And who knows? Maybe we'll see granny panties over pants on some runway show next year.
