So sorry for your devastating loss. You are truly inspirational, thanks for sharing your story with us. I just love your look!

Sarah, tears are in my eyes. Your outer beauty reflects a beautiful soul. Thank you for sharing your story.

I love the story of your name. So very sorry for the loss of your daughter.

After a bout of chemo where I lost my hair, I, too, wanted a badge of honor for simply surviving....my hair came back rather charcoal gray...kinda dull and with a mind of it's own. I have a small area right in front that is much grayer than the rest. I had hopes it would increase a bit so I would have a white streak like Rogue from XMen after her encounter with Magneto. Something that says 'it didn't kill me, it did make me stronger, but I am *forever* changed.'

My hairdresser put some mahogany highlights in which help add some richness and depth. Your white hair inspires me to add that stripe of silver I was thinking of.

Thanks for sharing your story, Sarah.

Your hair is SO fab! I love it!

So sorry to hear about your daughter, that is heart-breaking. hugs.

Thank you for sharing your story, Sarah. I'm touched by what your husband and son said. And your hair really suits you - beautiful.

Oh Sarah White, thank you for sharing your story. It's one of grief of course, and I am so very sorry for your loss, yet it is also one of strength and courage, and understanding, and -ultimately- triumph. I love that your hair now reflects a different yet incredibly beautiful woman.

Hugs to you.

I'm kind of at a loss for words after reading your incredibly open and moving post Sarah The White. I think you look powerful and beautiful.

Amazing story and amazing look. You are truly so strong to have emerged from your grief at all, let alone as the powerful, well-spoken, kind and beautiful woman you are. I love the story behind your hair, and YLF.

Glorious hair – you are so very strong.

I am so sorry for the loss of your daughter. I agree that hair is a statement and worth spending money on. How lovely that you have found a hair stylist that is so creative and empathic. I love Tolkien and read Lord of the Rings when I was an adolescent. Your husband and son are right. You are Sarah the White. Hugs.

Great hair. So sorry about your daughter.
Your hairdresser has a very good point about the contrast needed with your hair. Angie, said for me my long wavy hair is a good juxtaposition for my edgy, trendy clothing.

I am so sorry for your loss Sarah. Its amazing how each person deals with a given situation and how strong we emerge later. I am sure your little angel is watching you from above and loves the new strong mommy.

I for one .... Am crazy about your hair (I haven't seen your WiW yet). Gorgeous! You are one beautiful woman

I'm just catching up on the forum, but WOW, Sarah, what a story. You commented on my thread in Off Topic and I am so impressed with your strength. Your hair is the perfect extension of that.

I especially love that your DH and son understood right away.
