Thank you, Angie!
I did s long post on your buying shoes ahead of occasion, but if got eaten when I went to add Finds and hit a website instead.
Black footwear in a variety of styles continues to be essential - though gray and burgundy are my " signature" essentials ( pretty tame, huh!) .
The pumps are to be more comfortable and less dressy on purpose than my sitting- shoe Vaneli pumps.
I don't have any black rounded ballet flats. I wear blacklosfer types and slipper flats but the ballet is more feminine for some juxtaposition. I had considered duping AGL's but I like the fit on these. I do have some black AK pointy fabric flats so these could split wears. The Bernardo's fit
better and are leather. My plan is to try on both and see if I want to switch. They are very plain though so I need to see if they are classic enough and if they make outfits better. I am not really a daily ballet flat wearer but I just kind dimrmthing about these. Despite loving loafers and oxfords I sometimes need a daintier shoe and for comfort I am really needing flats or very low heels and rounded toes, so I am having to think reverse juxtaposition where I would wear a really classic shoe instead of trendy,
and combine with more trendy ( or updated) pants or top.
