So glad you had a great vacation! You are so kind to share your pictures with us. The shoes in # 23 are the best!

Welcome back:) Love all the photos & the report & glad your feet held up.
I think I need the shoes in #23, no I know I need them.

it looks like you had a most fabulous trip I really love the display window photos and your Zara sandals are fantastic. My (unconventional) advice would be to spend more time barefoot to strengthen the feet as opposed to trying to increase the support of the shoe.

Spectacular photos, Mochi! Brings back memories dear to my hear. Loved the cool fashion shots and the Parm cheese tour must have been really interesting. I remember actually being moved to tears at the Ponte Vecchio Bridge as I just couldn't believe I was seeing it in person-I had dreamed of the vision for so long. Sounds like you had a fantastic trip. Thanks for sharing

Oh thank you so much for sharing this! I've had an absolute ball reading through your "report" and looking at the pics! I must admit, that I went to pic #25 first because I was so anxious to see your sandals - and I was not disappointed! Those are great Mochi - and will take all of our outfits up a notch on the fashion quotient for Spring/Summer 2013. Love them! So glad that you had a good time - and thanks again for sharing!
Zara sandals are gorgeous! Thanks for sharing all of the pictures.

It is hard to shop in Europe considering the Euro to Dollar is 1.31. Which makes everything 31% more expensive for us. When the Euro first launched, it was 1 for 1. Then the dollar was stronger, making Europe a great value. The last time I was in Europe was 2008 and I think the rate was $1.25 US = 1 Euro, and it also constrained my shopping! The Euro has been significantly stronger than the dollar for a while. In spite of Greece and Spain. So whenever politicians cry that "we might just turn into Socialist Europe" I just laugh. Capitalism is alive and well in Europe, and the 1.31 to 1 rate is not government mandated like the Socialists states of yore.

PS/ETA: and thanks for all of the shop window pictures! I love the skinny jeans with sandals and neck scarf, so Euro-chic. The bags are super-refined and I love the silver pointy toe flats. I think I have reached my fashion sneaker saturation point though. When Rae went to Italy last (?) year she said everyone was wearing these and it looks like this trend has not died.
Loved reading this post and scrolling through your photos - thanks for sharing.

I enjoyed the pictures a great deal. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you for sharing your trip with us!

Your sandals are wicked awesome, as we say in these parts. Your trip sounds so amazing. I am so glad that you both had a great time and that the clothes worked out well. Being Portuguese, my favorite pic was the two of you surrounded by all that cheese ; ) !

What a treat, Nancy! It brings me straight back to our trip to Milan. So glad you ate at our little gem of a restaurant!!! How fun

The Zara sandals look KILLER. Sorry they are uncomfy. But as long as hubs gets his directions wrong, you can buy more shoes - so your feet are going to be happy soon! I love that deal you struck with hubs

Thanks for sharing these great photos and insights. LOVED IT!! Eye Candy. And that you had a brilliant time is the best news of all.

Suz, thanks for your sweet words.
Fantastic trip, Mochi! Looks like there was a lot of eye candy there, that would be fun to see! I love your Zara sandals, hopefully they are comfy enough for you to get some use out of them. Great photos, it looks like it was a fantastic trip.
