I've been enjoying the higher waists in pants and skirts recently, but as the weather cooled down I began to have trouble styling them with warm toppers--esp. sweaters. My sweaters, following the trend from the last many years, are longish, and are really hard to tuck smoothly and comfortably. But letting them hang out doesn't always work--the proportions are off, and if I wear a belt then it makes the sweater bulge out.
I tried half-tucking but had little success--it doesn't look right.
I seek recommendations for cropped, short, and/or tuckable warm sweaters that would work with high-waisted flared or wideleg pants, high-waisted skirts, and perhaps even paper-bag waists!
