ISO Lois Vuitton-like small crossbody

I saw a woman recently wearing an outfit that I really liked, and am mulling the idea of doing the copycat thing. She came into the breakfast area of the hotel where I was staying and was alone at her table for a bit before her colleagues showed up so I got a good look. Her skin and hair coloring were a lot like mine. Needless to say she looked absolutely FAB. Yeah, I did stare but I was not so rude as to take her picture.

dusty pink jeans with a very subtle tan/beige tie-die or marble print - just beautiful. (I'd have to buy)
Simple white button down shirt (I have already)
light tan sandals (already on my wish list but with a much lower heel)
What I believe was a Lous Vuitton bag in the pattern called damier azure. From my internet searches I would say this pattern is no longer made but there are lots of them on the second hard market

I love that LV bag pattern, but want sometime in a small-ish but not tiny crossbody, for a lot less than what real LV bags cost. Actually if I could find a second hand real LV in the size/style I want I might consider it but I don't think LV made that size.

I've looked around at knockoffs/similar ones and haven't found anything. Walmart of all places has some knockoffs that are close in style but not the crossbody size shape I want. The find below with the bag on the mannequin is the one from Walmart, but it's too big for what I want.

Has anyone seen anything like this? It has to be a small camera bag size crossbody with enough room for a wallet, sunglasses case, iphone, keys, pen ... so not a tiny ones. Does not have to be the exact pattern or real leather.

A quick search pulled up this one on the Walmart site. Note it is a 3rd party seller but the reviews seem mainly positive. That woman’s outfit sounds lovely!

Agree that a similar vibe in a good material is better than a knock off in less good material. Unfortunately I don't have any actual examples !

Thanks cat2. That Kate Spade bag is a little too cool a color (blue), was hoping to stick with warm-ish neutrals like the grey/tan of the LV one (grey checks and tan trim), and I dislike chain straps. But you have a good point about the vibe being similar.

Jaime, yup, agree with you.

All your inputs have been great and led me to more searches, where I found some coach bags in a similar vibe but a darker/warmer color scheme that would work better with my existing wardrobe and would get used year-round. (I'm rather traditional about preferring light colored bags only in summer). I'm also thinking that instead of pink-ish pants which would not go with much in my closet except white, maybe a light brown, tan, or other earth tone pants would be better and I already have them. Definitely moving into "inspired by"-land rather than "copycat"-land but that's fine!

Thanks Echo, I think i did see that Walmart bag. I still am grinning over the idea that Walmart has LV knock-offs no retail stone unturned as Angie would say.

Interesting that the pattern is a permanent line for LV. I just checked out their web site. Fortunately (for my wallet) they don't have any purses in the size/shape I want but quite a selection. And clothing - a trucker jacket, bomber jacket, full length coat ... and more!
