I got this one in red. But it also comes in neutrals. I see someone linked to them above in petite. I got regular size XS.

Benetton does not ship to Canada.

I’d suggest you check out Boutique Jourdain in Quebec City. We were in Quebec a couple of weeks ago, our first trip out of Ontario since January 2020, and I tried on a Saint James sweater, the Brehat III. It seems like a very good quality merino knit, not too thick but substantial. I should have bought it then and there but didn’t, and now after much hemming and hawing, and thinking that I should be able to get something locally, I’ve finally just ordered it online.

Merino is hard to find, and when you do it can be so thin you could spit through it (as my dear MIL would say). I do have an older one from Uniqlo and the quality is quite good, but the crew neck is way too high so I rarely wear it.

Thank you all for your suggestions. I'm still on the hunt!

Missvee, I'm in BC, so a trip to Quebec is out of the question. But Simon's (in Montreal and elsewhere) actually carries Benetton! So, to Nuancedream's point, I could get a grey sweater from them (no navy or white).

Some of the other options aren't available in Canada or don't currently carry the colour range available in the US in Canada.

I'll keep you posted with updates in case anyone else is interested!

Suz, I ordered online, http://www.boutiquejourdain.com. The shop offers free shipping and returns in Canada.

I see Talbots has shops in Canada, but I don’t know if they’re close to you or what the online ordering situation is.

Here are a couple I found on their US site, and there are other colors amd petite options.

So, I'm still on the hunt, officially, but I ordered a navy one from M&S when I ordered my PJs and a new cashmere cardigan, plus a modal top that might fill the same hole temporarily.

Thank you all for your help and I will report back with any further discoveries!
