I received this historical picture on my FB - deputes fighting back against cuts in the social system in Quebec in 1988, taking it to the streets.
My first thought was, What a cool crowd! (for the era)... every body in this is dressed in the latest fashion. I don't know if we could say this today...

ETA: pictures of the rebelling crowds in Quebec from last year (protesting against student fees raises). What a difference!
