So... this is what happened to me: I bought the yellow coat. The colour was brilliant and it was very cocoony (my aim). Then I went to Walgreens to buy my mum her Cetaphil soap bars and Coca-Cola in cans. Then I came out, pulled the yellow coat out of the bag, and thought about it again. Mostly because Zara is downtown, and I loathe going downtown. It's an ordeal that kills time like a horror movie villain.
After reconsideration, and without leaving the mall, I went and exchanged the coat for the ink.
My reasons - you can tell me what y'all think; I can make the horrible trip downtown one more time - were these:
1. The cut of the ink was superior.
2. The fabric of the yellow wasn't as good as the ink - and as Ceit pointed out, the ink's fabric was not its strong point. The yellow was a felt that I could tear apart and my dog would shred it like nobody's business, and I'm pretty sure it would become a dirty mat in under a month.
3. My dream cocoon coat tapers back in at the hem...
4. Also, I'm trendy and I was supposed to be working on the pastel thing... that *was* the plan...
I will add the ink was on sale and a huge bargain. For the price of the yellow, I got the ink and a trendy, palest pink jacket and a top (shown below), plus some change back.
