Oh no, I'm sending thoughts of sympathy and keeping my fingers crossed the mild weather continues for the rest of the season so you can wear the flip flops without snow and ice.

You are wise to get slip-ons, at least for the last month because you may not be able to see your feet or tie your shoes without help, depending on how you are carrying the baby.

Hugs! Lots of great advice already.
I think my size increased more from losing my arches than swelling, but I am now a 11, instead of a 10. Lucky for me there are more 11's now, but it is frustrating.
Expanding from an 11W-so sorry.
Luckily for you, sneakers are fashionable now.
Can't wait to see Nugget.

Men's sneakers. I only wear men's sneakers now with my foot issues. That's my thought!

Thank you all haveing a moment about my swollen feet and cankles.

It was mentioned that they look like pillows and mine did.

Such major changes to the body in 9 months. Just holding on to the thought that it will be well worth it.

It's totally worth it. Despite my 8 weeks of bed-rest during early pregnancy, fat feet and a c'section - it was still all worth it. Never a doubt

Contemplating the weirdness of biology will also kill some time Aphids are born pregnant, did you know?

I've learned a bew thing today. This I did not knoW Rachylou.

I alway about male penguins who hatch the eggs. While the women go fish for food.

Ahh, that's so hard. There's probably swelling, like you said, but the ligaments also stretch. Some women go up a size permanently. I know Naot makes size 12 shoes, so it might be something worth looking into.

Thanks Gradfashionista I'll keep that in mind for the future. I'm holding out hope my feet will go back.

Awe. I've been there so you have my sympathy. I was just a youngster when I had my babies but my feet swelled up terribly. My first was born in January and by the end of the pregnancy I couldn't even pull winter boots on. It's so frustrating.

Honestly, just make do with whatever you can get on with the knowledge that it will all be worth it in the end and that your body will return to normal in time.

Thanks Marilyn, It looks so painful but does not hurt.

I just started to swell so it is shicking to see.

Im a bit older with my 1st I'll be 43 on my due date but we all go through it.

Im trying g to keep my eyes on the prize

Oh I know. Emperor Penguins are incredible. At the bottom of the world, hanging around in the dark, in blizzards - no puffy jacket - with an egg balanced on their feet. Now those are some real men, lol

Rachylou YES THEY ARE.

Have you heard about the seahorses? The are dual sexc and can have anf carry their own babies.

Ledonna, my son is encouraging me to try a running shoe called Adidas Ultra Boost. He found a pair in a thrift shop and is deeply impressed with their comfort.

Not cheap, but they come in both men's and women's sizes. Since men's sizes tend to be wider, that could help with the problem that women's sneakers are hard to find in wide sizes.

I asked him about the fashion aspect and he said, "Very fashionable right now, especially in [New York] City."

So there you go.

ETA: I don't run, I just have really problematic feet and have a terrible time finding comfortable, stylish shoes. Little Mr. April suggests going a half size up in these.

Thank you APRIL because I'm on my feet at work I want a few investment pair. I will look into them.
