I totally want bootcuts like these. With a tiny heel. Getting them hemmed would kill the split, though

I like the look, Angie. Sporty and fresh.

I love the color and am glad you are finding it harmonizes with so many others. To my eye, the casual vibe of the chinos and sneakers are meant to go together.....the bootcut just seals the deal.
For myself, most bootcuts are going to be paired with boots or booties, but if wearing the style of the bootcuts you just bought, I would indeed be wearing sneakers, for as long as the weather permitted.

I like the look and can only imagine how fresh it looks on you.  Fun story of how Sam gave his approval.  When you wear these with your white sneakers, will you repeat white in the outfit? or will your hair do the job for you?

Oh - yes , navy is a great idea for pairing with this cinnamon colour . I would love to figure out my version of this look .

Lisa - I LOVE those bootcuts with a mini heel . My kind of look.

Ooh, I also want those jeans with the front slit... but could very likely do a DIY! I doubt that brand would fit me anyway.

You’ve sold me on this color scheme and think I will give these pants a try.

The colour is going to work brilliantly for you. Fabulous!

Gorgeous color and so good with the blues. I enjoy watching the slow r/evolution of your closet Angie!

They're going to look awesome Angie. They remind me of this pic- Brigitte Bardot in 1967, a movie called Two Weeks in September. I saw in a fashion mag article about the 70s but had to search hard to find it -was actually 1967.

Love these and I enjoy seeing how you evolve your style.

Sounds great!look forward to seeing the finished outfits.

I am soooooo excited!!!!-) And the new trousers sound heavenly!

Love these! The colour sounds gorgeous. Beautiful with blue. I have always had good luck with Sanctuary.

What a fun photo of Brigitte Bardot circa 1967!

Angie, sure, I'll give them a try as they are indeed a match for my new hair color. It's fun to have new hair and I highly recommend being a warm brunette! I will need to buy them from Nordstrom to make sure I take advantage of the free alterations. If you need to hem them a bit, I'm going to REALLY need to hem them!

Taking a moment to remember the late great David Kahn jeans. Best bootcuts ever. Twisted seams! Pockets with flaps! They had it all.

having Jr High flashbacks....but in a good way! looking foward to seeing this look....

Thanks for the kind words and chuckles, ladies.

Jenni NZ, GREAT pic of BB. I LOVE the '70s. I appreciate the cheerleading.

Jenn, the pants would look great with your Chucks.

UmmLila, I think hemming the slits will be fine. Good pair at Anthro too. See Find.

Laura, WHY did that amazing brand die? Mind blowing.

Jaime, Suz, Inge, Joyce, Style Fan, Cardiff Girl, Jane and Mainelady, you're honey-pies.

Joy, I can repeat white with a top, pearls, pattern, belt or my hair.

kkards, fashion flashbacks are fun

Smittie and Lisa p, dark blue never lets us down.

Fun look! I have a friend who never stopped wearing her bootcuts and sneakers from a decade ago (or more?). I'll have to tell her she's in style again . She always wears newer tops so never looks dated, although not particularly trendy either.

Love this look for you! The addiiton of light blue is brilliant. I keep trying to manage sneakers for anything other than athleisure and workout wear --- but I never quite feel like myself. I'm favoring low heels and mules this season! I would love a pair of pants like this in another neutral.

I love the look of this! Hope to see pics of your outfit in action!
