All of you who spent time helping me prune my shoe collection, thank you. You all know how huge it is that I ordered red and turquoise shoes after seeing my current sea of brown and black.

Two great choices. I love the Born Adele in the red but the metallic is really sharp too.

Good job; I own the Adele in brown and gold. Neither of these are suede finish, though.

On their own, they are 8 hrs shoes. If you need to get more out of them; I put in a gel pad with a gel arch support and I can easily get 30 hrs out of them.

I dunno what size you were, but you can often get the Adele's on eBay for about $50 a pair, including shipping! Keep an eye out for the other colours if you like them!

Lyn, thanks for the idea. It figures that I would spend full price when I could have found them cheaper. I did that with Gap jeans too... paid full price for the first pair I bought, and then learned how I could get them cheaper. It's ok. Sometimes it works out like that. And I wondered about the red ones being a suede finish. I couldn't tell for sure from the pictures. I hope they last a while.

I dont' think the red one's are suede.. I think it's just the scruffy finish of the leather that is giving that appearance.

Great choices! I think you'll find that the red goes with an amazing number of outfits....

I have red sandals that are in constant rotation. And the turquoise are beautiful!

Brenda - don't be hard on yourself! I paid $130 for my first pair! Once you know that your feets love the brand and the model; you can hunt for a pair of cheap ones in a different colour and not have to worry about returning because you know they'll fit for sure; am I right?

I usually destroy anything in suede.

Yay to cute shoes! Nice choices. I've never tried turquoise shoes myself, but I bet they'll be a breath of fresh air for spring and summer. As for your red ones, you may find that they go with a lot more than you think. I have a pair of red shoes in that shade, and I wear them all the time (granted, my wardrobe is largely neutral...).
