I'm late but want to add my vote for PANTS ( I wear them 95% of the time, maybe more) and dogs, cats are too independent and fickle for me.

Skirts for sure. I cannot imagine never twirling around in a skirt ever again. xD

Dog. Cats are kinda mean.

Pants and pooch

In my case one that gets hair all over my pants.

Skirts and dogs. Skirts keep you cool in the summer and add tights, warm in the winter.

I've been pulling out the trousers lately, but in
general feel most myself in skirts ..so skirts and dogs (cat allergy)

New tally:

pants/dog: 10
pants/cat: 8
skirt/dog: 8
skirt/cat: 2

Omg Frogmella, PUPPIES! Super cute. Deb, your poodles are handsome and elegant.

That is a tough one! Skirts in the summer and jeans in the winter. I like the way that skirts feel, but I prefer the way that I look in jeans (but please, can we have some slouchier styles for comfort?) . I guess I'd pick pants if you could promise me that I wouldn't roast.

Till eternity..so I'd say a skirt! I can see how pants would be more popular, but I personally feel better turned out in a skirt and that makes me comfortable! And I've had both dogs and cats growing up, but right now I'd say MEOW!

Pants. And since we have a cat, a dog, and a lizard, I'm sitting that out.

I'm a little surprised there aren't more cat/skirt people. I mean, presumably, one doesn't haven't to walk the cat...

Ok! We have a new member of the pack! She just came home yesterday! My bf wants to call her Jenny, but this is difficult for me. It's not German enough...

Rachylou, so cute! Why does it need to be German? Because of the breed?

I would say skirts and dog! I'd love to have a dog some day.

My peeps are German and all our dog names have always been German... to give you a sense of how this all works, my cousin's SO was a mite aghast when we all wanted them to name their baby after one of the dogs... hehe

That's too funny! Here's a list with traditional names:

https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/.....r_Herkunft

You could always name her Astrid.... Although that's really old nordic, strictly speaking.

ETA They are both male and female names on the list, forgot to add. I like Isolde.

All right, final tally:

pants/dog: 10
pants/cat: 8
skirt/dog: 8
skirt/cat: 3

Doesn't say much, other than that pants appear to be more popular than skirts (on this forum, that surprises me!) and dogs are more popular than cats (but small sample size, so probably not significant).

I was also surprised that there were not more skirt/cat people. I don't know why I feel that skirts and cats go together more than skirts and dogs...?

Rachylou, cute puppy! How about Hedwig?

I'd kill if I could get bf to agree to Hedwig... ;>

I'm surprised too that there aren't more skirt/cat people, I thought it was a no brainer! How do you like the names Sebastian or Dimitri? I'm going to name future cats these..I know, Dimitri's very Russian! Imagine, my DH and I are desperately trying to have babies now, and I don't have names for them but ready for future kittens!!

Those are brilliant names. I love them. You definitely have to have BOTH names.
