This makes your upper half look absolutely teeny-tiny! I love what a cropped jacket does for an IT (esp. me with a long upper torso and shorter legs). Divine. What did they call the color, lobster? It realy looks wonderful with your skin tone. This may be "your" white!

Ok, I am now considering ordering this in an 8. They still have some but how on earth can I justify another jacket, cropped and distressed. I am not sure about the color. Una- you can wear more contrast than me.

From trying on AS stuff, UK 8 is like a US 4. I really like that it is not pink, that it is a tan-ish pink. I think it will be easier for you to work with and blend into your current wardrobe.

Jean, I'm glad you found it because it looked like the 8 was gone... I think it runs small. What jacket size would you be in a common brand like j. crew - or something like Allsaints? What size was your brown cropped leather jacket?

I'm a US 8 in this jacket (!), but I'm always a size bigger on top than in bottoms because of my shoulders, and I wanted some room to layer, as I said. There wasn't a HUGE difference between the two sizes I tried - it was more comfort than fit.

I am usually a 2 in US sizes. I find that Asos is unpredictable, but this is not ASOS brand.
I am really tempted but it would be a big splurge and I am in the midst of looking for a winter coat, I took back the H&M one- it was not quite what I wanted. I put one in the saved area of the site. Do they actually save things for a month? By that time I may know what other things i am keeping. I have been trying on lots of coats but nothing is working. That jacket is a gem. I wonder if it will get dirty?

BTW- I would not layer much- I like jackets really fitted and wear coats over them.

I think it would get dirty if you weren't careful, but it actually already looks a little scuffed up, so it won't matter. If you're a US 2, go with the 8. I'm a 4 or 6 in jackets usually. I don't think saving an item holds it, it's more like a wishlist. But I could be wrong. It may stay around though beause it's out of season now - I think it came out in spring.

Jean, I am midway in a bid for a different jacket. If that doesn't work out, I may have to jump on this. I wanted my first leather jacket to be more versatile but then got to thinking, maybe if it's a funky piece I totally love, it will get just as much wear and joy. Will know in 2 days I also saw the 8 as sold out earlier but someone must have returned, as it's back in stock. I'd go for the 10 for me, due to the 34 bust measurement, but I do often take petite smalls and even xs in some jackets, so I don't know . . .
