Opaline, Jade got me the tape-in. She used double sided hair tape to attach them. She actually took the time to explain it all to me: they laminate the ends of the hair between two strips of silicone, then she uses double side hair tape to sandwich my genetic hair between the two sections of extensions. The only order I have been given is to keep oils off the tape strips, so they're fairly low maintenance. I do have to devote a minute or so to applying leave in conditioner type products since the tape strips pretty much ensure that the extensions don't get the benefit of any of the oils my scalp produces, but other than that I don't have to do anything special.
