Angie Thank you! I hadn’t thought of metallic shoes. I think it would work.

Do you remember this scarf? I pulled it out a couple of weeks ago and have been using it. At first I am not sure the owner liked it but after several customers commented on it she loves it.

HAH. Sweet Debbie. You crack me up. EXCELLENT. And a ten year old YLF top pick scarf to boot

Look for Deborah’s blog right here on this very youlookfab website called
‘A Girl and Her Wardrobe’.

Much inspiring arty black to be appreciated there.

*chucks entire wardrobe in favor of architectural black*
Seriously though- big yes to a variety of textures!

Cindysmith, I was thinking the same thing - “at least you don’t have to wear a uniform T-shirt in some hideous color (in my case bright orange)”. The grass is always greener I suppose.

I personally would lean into the all black, and wouldn’t try to go too much with bright accessories. Most of the hairdressers I know with an all black requirement who look good keep their silhouettes flattering and and their fits good. Plus you need to be able to move so you wouldn’t want a lot of jewelry or scarves anyway. Kick the texture and polish up a notch instead.

Ooooh! Those Ann Taylor faux suede crops that Inge found! Yum!
