LOL. If I ironed, it would be worth posting about as well.

Ironing to go camping, I love it!!-) And that is such an excellent Rachy-goes-camping outfit!!

Hey! Whoa! Y’all in Florence territory, take care!

Interesting about colours and locale. I agree some colours look better some places than others.

Also... 45F! Eh, I’m wondering if I should throw in a thermal turtleneck...

You just reminded me I have a pile of clothes that need to be ironed. I hate ironing.

You look adorable in your camping outfit!

Well, that's more than I did. I have so much stuff that needs to be ironed soon. I'm just too busy these days. (And when I have a few minutes, it's more fun to be here at YLF. )

I actually like ironing, I find that it somehow calms me down. And I'm often able to do a lot of thinking and planning while I iron. Sometimes I watch the news while ironing. Other times I sing old favourite songs.

Last Saturday night, I ironed loads of bedclothes and other stuff at my parents' house. A very quiet way to spend a Saturday night. But OK. We have an emergency situation at the moment, with family members going into and out of hospitals, so they need a lot of help. It feels good to be able to lend a helping hand. It just leaves very little time for my own household chores.

Glamming sounds exciting. I wish you happy days.

First, your jacket and outfit are adorable! Second, thanks for giving me reason to laugh.

I could iron more than I do. Like some other Fabbers, I actually kind of enjoy the process. Years ago, when I spent a summer in Germany, I learned how to properly iron a man’s dress shirt and can do it quite well. Ironically, I’m married to a man who never wears the type of shirt that needs ironing.

Have a wonderful camping trip!

That can be very rough, The Cat. My uncles were so helpful when my dad was in hospital. They came from various countries. Made a big difference.

Windchime... any special tips? My mum refuses to pass on any of her secret knowledge, lol. I didn’t learn about spray starch until I was 19! My bff had to tell me!

Do you know about Downy Wrinkle Release Spray? No ironing involved. Just spray a wrinkled garment hanging on its hanger and pull at it a bit to pull out wrinkles and let dry. I usually do this when laying out an outfit for the next day and let the spray do it’s magic over night. Love it for linen.

I have learned about a new product! Thx, Joy

Exactly what Elizabeth said lol!!! Have fun Rachy!

Put the rest of us to shame with your domestic skills again rachylou!

You look great in your outfit! I iron everyday.

I salute you! Last time we used our iron was to kill moth larvae in a nice woolen carpet (the heat kills them). And before that, to iron out some Christmas candle wax in another carpet.
