Jeans. I haven't given any away since losing weight, thinking that I can wear them as slouchy skinnies. Still I think I have 25 pair, and I wear the same 5 or 6 regularly.

Hello my name is Glory and I have too much clothing....

Socks! I have an incredible amount of socks and that's after going through the drawer and getting rid of all the old holey ones. I must have at least 50 pairs - workout socks, boot socks, plain white and black socks, wool socks, patterned socks...you name it and I've probably got it.

Pajama sets. Probably over two dozen. It's all the BF's fault. Gifts over the years. But I match and I'm never raggedy in my sleepwear!

Button down shirts, sweaters, dresses I haven't worn in ages, evening clothes from days gone by, layering tees. Some might say I have too many handbags, but I say "no such thing"!

things I need to cull....I really need to do another closet sort. But it may have to wait until the summer when my son is off to camp. Otherwise I keep hearing..."mmmmmmmmmoooooooooooooooooommmmmmmmmmmmm"!

I don't think I have too much of anything. The only thing that embarrasses me a little right now is my shoe and bootie collection, but that's just because the weather is preventing me from wearing those. If the weather were different, I'd be wearing all of them regularly. Another thing that makes me a bit uncomfortable is the number of button down shirts hanging in my closet. It's not that it's a huge number or anything. I think I have a total of 12. (There are few others for warmer weather). But I've hardly worn them at all this winter due to the cold. I'm layering knits!

Seconding petitesanonymous and sara with the old socks. I have a lot that used to be black.

Also with Greyscale on the unusual consignment skirts. I wear them, but not enough.

I have a lot of slouchy oversized gray knit tops at the moment. Useful, but not really necessary to stockpile...

Cashmere v-neck sweaters. In all kinds of colors. All the same v-neck shape.

Lots of layering yes. Lots. And lots.

Skirts. Especially for someone who doesn't have a corporate job or many places to wear them. I've had to cut myself off and missed out on the VC striped tube skirt for that reason.
I'm also embarrassed at how many pairs of flats I have, but they do get worn lots.

Shoes, definitely shoes.

Gear shoes which I never wear as casual wear but still.... i have more of them that I have real actual cute shoes! But, since they are all for different purposes, none are going to go. It is certainly the most strikingly unusual hoarding in my closet unless you understand the parameters I put on what I use each pair for.... Sounds an awful lot like justification as I reread this one

Socks! I. I'm another one here with an overflowing sock drawer, most of them threadbare. Must go through them. Now that's a project for a snowy day!

Black jackets at the moment (among other things). I get rid of them and they seem to spring back magically.

Euphemism will not hide your guilty pleasure, Angie. We all know those pets are typically leather, draped over or tucked under one arm or shoulder, and sheltering keys and wallet...

I have a lot of gear-- not all of it gets worn all the time, but it all has a purpose.
Old tees I've saved but I can no longer wear to work or anywhere decent.
Things I no longer wear, usually because the are worn out and no longer or never fit.

I used to have a "shoes that hurt" problem but I culled those last year and now have 6 pair of non-gear shoes total (oh and my Fryes that I can't wear but can't part with).

Scarves. Maybe 100? Many are 10, 20, 30+ years old, and I have a hard time parting with them. Belts, but fewer. I'm waiting for high waists to come back, but I HAVE purged the tiny 22-24" belts as I would have to be truly ill to get that small again.

Vintage Coach bags. I have a lot.

Shoes definitely. And my wardrobe pets seem to be inviting new friends in to play!

Clothes. Period. *And a long silence.*

Watches. How many can you wear at once?!

Scarves, scarves and more scarves! They're generally inexpensive, easy to buy on vacations/trips, a fun way to experiment with colors and patterns and styles. Don't really take up that much room. Always fit. BUT I only regularly wear my favorite two. And. I live in the DESERT!

Jeans,Sweaters ,Tees,skirts,camis/tanks,sitting shoes,jewelry......need to cull ..well maybe not the jewelry..

April til you explained it I was wondering what a Wardrobe Pet was .Having seen photos of Angie's beautifully curated closet it couldn't be a dustbunny...my next thought was it was some new tech toy from Japan that I'd never heard of.(Which if you think about it would make for a dandy April fools post in a few months=Wardrobe Pet the newest gadget/app that tracks____,_____,____fill in whatever info/promo stuff )

Laurie I think that depends on how many time zones you want to keep track of.

Probably boots... and the colour black

I've gotten pretty good about culling items I'm not wearing. I went through my scarves recently because they'd gotten rather out of control. Now I'm down to what will fit in my hanging scarf holder. I actually use that approach a lot - choose a container and limit your items to what will fit, whether you are talking about a drawer or a set or hangers or a shoe rack. That doesn't always reflect whether I'm actually wearing something or not, I guess, but I tend not to want to waste the space for an item I never wear.

I'm actually feeling like I have too many bras, even though I wear them all (granted, the strapless not as often). But I remember some ladies here had 2 or 3 bras and now I'm up to ten or so.

Outerwear, particularly coats. But I'm wearing at least one outer layer around 10ish months of the year, so clearly it's ok...

I'm with Diane and Suz. Right now, I don't have any surplus of anything, I think, but due to the weather, I mostly wear sweaters, pants and boots, so a lot of stuff sits unworn.

Black boots, sunglasses, Fox Racing gear, moto jackets, eyeliners...

...my list could go on and on and ON!
