Rae, I'm joining in on this late, but I just had to post to congratulate you! That is fantastic news!!! Nordstrom is a wonderful company to work for (I say having worked for a number of retailers throughout college).
Just fyi, one of my friends started at Nordstrom as a teen working the espresso bar. He became the store manager and was store manager for many years before he left the company for other opportunities That's impressive! Promotion from within requires a real commitment to your employees, and a real confidence in every person you hire.
With your drive, charm and style, I will not be surprised at all to see you moving up into personal styling with them and onward and upward from there! Fantastic!
