LaPed, I fear the same thing about polos! I have an ongoing low-key search for a fitted short sleeve black polo with a fairly deep neckline and no logo. A sexier twist on the preppy classic. I’ve tried a few and mostly they end up in Radio Shack employee territory, or they are *too* fitted and clingy like one that Club Monaco currently has. Who knew it would be that hard? LOL
Yes, too true! Ditto for me re. the low ponytail and the polo shirt. I recently ordered a light blue oversized polo from J. Crew on deep discount/final sale, thinking "how bad can it be? I can always wear it to walk the dog or mow the lawn." Well, it was terrible! Truly, truly bad.
