And I like the red, but also understand how it might feel like a huge shock. Hang in there and see. Sveta ended up loving her new (much darker) hair colour after a few days. It takes the eye a while to adjust.

The cut is fabulous and so modern! The color is maybe shocking but it does look very hip and cool and I like it on you. What a week and see what you think.
I remember the first (and only) time I had highlights done - I didn't realize how light they would be in my brown hair and I really hated it for about a week until it toned down and I got used to it. I did make sure I used a gentle shampoo and extra conditioning and that helped fade it a bit without stripping.
Totally wear red and all the colors you always wear!

Thank you guys! I still freak out a little every time I see myself, but I realise that it is only brcause this is the first time I have ever changed my hair colour. I do think it growing on me though and I'm sure I will love it in a few days! I really appreciate all your comments, they really really helped

I didn't read all the comments, but actually I think it looks good. Edgy but subtle at the same time. Classy but fun. Try to enjoy it for now, and you can always dye it darker when it starts to grow out if you don't want to keep it.
