This makes me smile, because it is more like what I have envisioned last time you had us help you choose your hairstyle. So cute on you, polished and fresh !

Of course you always look wonderful - what I want to know is how little Sam-Sam looks so polished?

Our Bodie is a total ragamuffin. Home haircuts (random and semi, since he hates being groomed and runs away), lack of professional attention since February, and many daily romps in our meadow have turned him into a hot mess. How does Sam look so sharp?

It looks so good on you, Angie! Enjoy. I tend to agree that an outdoor/walking lifestyle require hair short enough that it won't blow all over or long enough it can be pulled into a pony tail. Short is your perfect option.

Gorgeous, Angie!!

And I absolutely get this! I really struggle with "longer bits" at the back. I mean, I can do it a little teeeeny bit, but there's always a risk things will get out of hand. And in terms of between-cut styling, I need it to be no fuss at all. A bit of product and go is my motto. If you walk all the time in wind, you need a style that won't get caught in your specs. With masks, there is yet another layer of fuss. So it's ultra important to be fuss free.

Luckily, this looks beautiful on you too!

Very pretty! And you look so happy! That’s the best thing!

Totally get it. This ‘thing’ that is happening is changing us all, but it doesn’t mean that everything that happened before needs to be changed. Right now my hair is in a good place (5+ months grow out) and I can get it into a ponytail if I’m having a bad hair day. Haircut appointment in 2 weeks - and I’m back and forth on which direction to take.

I’m supposed to get 2 important ID photos that I will have to look at for the next 5 years - just before my birthday (in 4 months) so I’m trying to think long term!

Very pretty Angie. The style looks like YOU. Btw, that Sam is a good looking little fellow.

Your smile says it all.
You look great in many styles, but you know what feels right for you.

Yep, that is you. You wear this style so well!!

This style looks just as fab on you as the previous one! Yes, having hair flying into your face and eyes is really annoying. I’ve been dealing with a lot of that as my usually very short cut has been growing out.

When I read the thread title, at first I thought you perhaps grabbed a scissors and chopped off your own hair! I’ve briefly toyed with that idea once or twice since mid March.

Perfect, now you are all set for your birthday celebrations. Photo 10 is just divine, so glad that Sam approves.

I love it, too, Angie! It does look very You. I had my hair cut yesterday, and I think I have a very similar cut to yours.

Ha, Angie, I just remembered: “ A girl has to have a hair project”! And I said no, I preferred a shoe project! You may need to join me
Also, to Suz who likes “a bit of product and go” - I like “no product and go”!

Very polished haircut - perfect for Seattle weather! Love the clean back look - so craving it right now ( still trimming my hair ... ).
You look happy and radiant ( Sam is adorable as always ).

Very pretty and very you.l agree that it’s so important in the current situation to hang onto the things that make you feel like you if you know what I mean.

Soft, sensational and Sam approved! Angie, you really do look radiantly happy. Best style ever!

Well you always look great, but I'm glad you feel great now too!

I agree, this look is quintessential Angie!

That said, I can definitely sympathise with the concept of 'weatherproofing' your hair. I think that's why my lazy style of clipping all my hair up onto the top of my head in a little 'pouf' actually works best for me - it retains the softness of my curls without having them slip out to get stuck against my neck in the humidity (like in a headband) or without sitting too flat against my head (which they often would when they're being pulled taut into a ponytail). I ironically find it *harder* to look polished when my hair is shorter, because the layered wisps would often blow everywhere (I remember I would forever be catching my short bob in my glasses, argh!) And I think we all know what happens to curls with no weight to pull them in a particular direction - it takes double the effort to get them to sit in a particular way & to then *stay* there for the whole day. I would rather spend my morning minutes on other things (like sleeping for longer)

Anyway, all of that just to say everyone's concept of 'practical' hair is different - glad to see this works for you!

I love it! This is completely you, and I’m with you on “too much hair” - that’s how I feel about my shoulder length hair right now. I’m craving a return to the pixie too but so far resisting, wondering if just a little longer and I’ll be fine with it

I think it looks great.
You know it works for you, and your lifestyle, and style.

You already know what I think GORGEOUS!!! xxx

So becoming and such a beautiful texture. Very happy for you that it feels right. You did good!

Was Sterling's account hacked? Those posts seemed out of character, or maybe an "inside joke" that I didn't understand. Hope all is well with her, and with everyone.

Your hair looks beautiful - I love the wave and the short, structured cut really highlights your beautiful features and cheekbones. I miss the structure too! I am planning to hold out until the end of the summer, but you are tempting me !

This is air-dried and that's it? Fabulous! A lovely 'do for your birthday month!
