It's very flattering on you! The shape is almost exactly like a Lands End fit-and-flare dress; they have them every year and apparently are extremely popular. If the $ isn't an issue, I'd say keep it, and I bet the occasions to wear it appear. You look lovely! I'm sure I'm in the great minority, but I think the gladiator sandals detract from the prettiness of the dress and I'd like to see a lighter color shoe or sandal.
