I agree with Clara. Honestly, I've seen many so-called skinny jeans that look way more jegging-ish than a pair of patterned jeans I bought that were labeled "jeggings" -- they have full pockets, the calves are slim but not tight, and they are almost a twill-like fabric that has give but is not overly stretchy, so they don't hug every curve and bump the way some skinnies and all leggings do.

I do have a one pair of what would probably be considered jeggings (Democracy brand, they button but don't zip), but again, they have pockets and are constructed of a denim that has enough thickness to be flattering and very jean-like. I don't do leggings, so I'm pretty sensitve to the whole leggings-are-not-pants phenomenon.

All that said, I will continue to wear the ones I have that are comfortable and functional in my wardrobe, because I love them for tucking into high boots. I just haven't gotten into boyfriend cuts the way most of you have. Most of them are cropped, which I hate. Although today I am wearing a pair of AG "Tomboy" cut, which is actually full-length and not tapered at the hem. Hallelujah!

I'm still devoted to my Gap Leans from several years ago. I also can't stand excess fabric in my boot legs, so I'm not sure what else to wear with my tall boots.

I'm feeling pretty equal-opportunity though, and wear my Kut skinnies, COH straight legs and Gap slouchy khakis as alternatives.

I just renamed mine ponte knit skinnies...Mine aren't body con but rather slouchy on the leg, ready to tuck into the boot...
Thanks for the education...I think in some cases it is a case of word choice...
