I have had stompy combat boots in past ummlila, so maybe that’s why a different iteration appeals this time around.

I love the look of a skirt and stompy boots too - but it's really outside my wheelhouse. I would need to keep the rest of the outfit pretty low key to wear it to work. A girl can dream though . . .

Like you, I am always on the hunt for 10 1/2's. I have the Merrells in the non-lace up version in a 10 1/2 and they are very comfortable - but definitely a winter boot.

I have the same problem as you with Frye - and actually with Born too.
10's are too small, 11's too big.

If they have a rounder toe box, I can make them work in a size 10, but any taper and forget about it.

Am following your thread - there are some great options here!

ChrisM - I’m always excited if the reviews say they run long. Then I can wear 10s. Or short, and I’ll try the 11. So annoying to be excluded when the average women’s shoe size is a 9.

I returned a Cobb rockport Bethany I would likely have kept for the reason of being between sizes.

I really like this look - combat boots can be great for work. I used to wear them with vintage dresses a lot. I'm also on the lookout for some new combat boots, and there are some really good options on here!

Combat boots can work nicely with a flowy skirt or dress. I wore my combat boots with a skirt and black tights to work yesterday and was happy with my outfit. The boots you are showing look really nice and refined and may be good up to late Spring, I think.

I spotted some very similar shoes at Zara shop a few weeks ago. Have a look there!
