@nemosmom - even giving 4lb/in sounds like we would be pretty close so that's tremdendously helpful. So the 2 sounds like it should be very roomy. That's exactly what I'm looking for a very warm but formal/sophisticated wool coat. I run very cold so that's great. I do find the dropped shoulders of a cocoon work best with blazers/jackets underneath. I have the Everlane cocoon (now a bit more oversized than I'd like as I've dropped a size) but it's similar in feel but shorter and definitely not as warm. Thanks so much, I'll definitely try the 2! Much appreciated.

Lisa it's like James Perse - the sizing 1, 2, 3 kind of cooresponds to sm, med, large. There is a very nice size chart. Having never tried the brand though I did not know how accurate it is. Lisa I do think this would look brilliant on you. Elegant but not stuffy, classic with an edge. Some beautiful earth tone colors would look gorgeous with your hair!!

@gryffin I looked at the size chart for this on the site (same as Carla posted) I am also at the bottom of the size 2, per their numbers. Usually, my problem areas are shoulder and sleeve - the drop shoulder is a little more... forgiving? in that respect. Try-on pics to follow in a bit.

@griffyn Here are try-on pics! Open, closed, with and without a thick leather moto. Forgive the no makeup/messy hair/dirty mirror/bad base outfit/etc. It’s been a loooooong work day…

@Nemosmom - you look amazing! That color is divine with your hair and skin. Just glows!! The coat looks incredible. Okay, now I'm torn as per size. I usually go up a size in coats and am happy because I tend to dress like a "snow beast" and I don't like buttons that tug. OTOH layered yours lies incredibly. But I certainly know I should not order a size 3 as a was considering. Will the 2 big toooooo big..... I may go for it anyway, the reviews said it ran smaller than last years coat so.... Thank you so very much for modeling your coat. I'm off to order!!

Great coat NM

Thank you ST and Griffyn! Good luck and keep us posted on your coat hunt(s)!

This looks like a great coat. I am not sure if I need another winter coat this year, but I would get this one if I did.

I don't need one either, but I'm so sick of parkas and puffers (and it's not even fall- hahahaha) that I love the idea of this coat. The minute I can get into our Aritzia I'm trying this baby on.
