Another day, another hemming question from me ( I have enough of these to keep me busy the whole summer ).
Earlier in the season I decided that a pair of black linen/linen blend wide leg crops would be really useful, as it would work both for my casual "shorts alternative" bottoms capsule, as well as for office once we are allowed back. My requirements were slimmer wide legs if possible, no pleats, and most importantly, real, structured waistband ( no elastics, drawstrings, etc.). Basically, I wanted the first pair in the Finds, from Club Monaco, which sadly does not come in black. You would be surprised how hard this was to find, with the waistband requirement being the most difficult one! I have searched for a while and almost gave up before I stumbled on this pair from Frame, presumably from last season.
The pants have a wide cuff, 5" long, for which I normally do not care because of leg shortening effects, but do not mind that much here because it is not too noticeable. The pants as they are ( #1) are too long for me, as it always happens, so they need hemming. I have two options: either shorten the cuff to about half of it's height ( #2) or have it completely removed (#3). Which one do you prefer? (They are folded under in the photos so please excuse the messy hem appearance).
