How tight are skinnies/jeggings/leans?

I just bought 2 skinnies, one is a chino/cargo type, the other maybe a jegging or lean. What's the guideline on the tightness?

They fit, although very tightly. So are they supposed to be this tight? Obviously I'll need tunic types to cover at least 1/2 or all of the behind. Are they OK if they are covered? I'd be extremely self conscious of my behind if they are not covered due to the tightness (and VPL even with the thinnest undie). I'm thinking just keep the denim one, but the fabric on the chino is so luscious, soft with a bit of sheen.

Are these skinnies or jeggings/leans? (do they stretch a lot?)

Either way, I don't think the fit is right. I would try a size up on both if you can.

they are not stretchy like leggings. But they are very thin, not like regular denim material. I know if I wear them as regular pants that'd be too tight, but if I wear tunics and cover my behind, would that matter?

C9, I don't think these kinds of bottoms need to be flattering on their own, because they're worn with the top part covered (usually with a top that comes to about mid-thigh, I think.)

I can't really tell without seeing the whole leg length on the chino-fabric ones, but are they meant to be skinnies/jeggings/leans? Or are they straight-leg chinos with stretch? If the latter, I think the fit should be somewhat looser. If the former, you'll be wearing them with long-ish tunics so the way the top fits by itself is not that important.

The creases around the crotch and bum areas make me think these do not fit right. Possibly too tight. I'd try a size up.

I think that you *might* have the size right for #1 and #2, since jean skinnies usually stretch. It looks like the inseam is the problem. I would try some skinnies with a higher rise.This might be too low for you.

Skinny chinos are super hard to get right, especially in a lighter color. I would not venture into giving you any advise on #3 and #4

The denim ones look like they have possibilities. Are they comfortable for you? They look to me like jeggings - did you try a size up for comparison? Either way - they would need to be worn with a tunic style top. I would return the 2nd ones - the color is just too light for skinnies and the fit isn't quite right!
