I have a few things that are 15-20 years old, but they're truly classics and made really nicely.

Many of the items in my wardrobe are less than a year old right now since my lifestyle has changed dramatically in the past year and I had to shop to accomodate that.

Awesome question. I love "thinkers." As much as I shop and fool around, I actually think most of my wardrobe - maybe 75% - is older than 5 years. However, nothing I'm wearing today is! LOL. My pants and shoes are all less than 5. I have problems with pants: minor weight fluctuations making everything unwearable, going in and out of phases where I do or do not want to wear heels, etc. etc.

I'd say most of my wardrobe is less than 5 years old, mainly because I've updated my style in recent years. I think it's important to look current.

I have spent the last year and a half purging and overhauling, so most of my stuff is pretty new. But everything I've held onto from the purging of old items was probably 5 years or older. I'm finding that I'm not craving as many new items right now, partly because I'm happy with lots of the items I have, and partly because I'm not LOOKING as much.
