I would probably be OK with top #2 and a nude bra, but as soon as I am feeling a bit "I'm not sure about this..." I wear a cami or tank top underneath. It is a beautiful top!
Could you see how you feel in the nude bra? I did something similar in my new-to-me (from last year’s clothes swap) cobalt top, I put a cobalt bra under it and you could only see the V part of the bra before it was the pin tucked folded parts of the top. It did feel cooler than having to wear a cami.
Otherwise I might be purchasing a white bra or bralette?
I think it’s partly that I don’t like the look of the contrasting colour underneath, would prefer the same or nude colour.
Great top. I think I’d like it better with a nude for you bra. I don’t think it’s age inappropriate or anything like that, I just think a nude look would elevate the look. With a contrast bra I think the bra becomes more of the star than the top.
I like the tops and think they look fine with a bra. I would wear a tank but they don't bother me anyway. I like the idea of trying it with a nude bra.
You have to be comfortable whatever you choose—I know if I feel self-conscious for any reason, I won’t reach for an item of clothing. I dislike a cami in the summer, so I’d probably wear this beautiful top with a nude/skin-colored bra OR wear a column of color under it…maybe a black bra and black bottoms so it looks intentional.
