Only one! I hate changing clothes — but if I have several activities in a day, I wear a base outfit where I can change shoes, bag and jewelry for different refinement levels.

For example, if I need to do yoga, I will do it in my pajamas I. The morning, then I shower and dress for the day. Jeans and a tee with sneakers or comfy shoes depending on the season to walk the dog, then switch to dressier shoes and bag and a fun third piece like a kimono to go out to dinner. Once I get home, I’ll lose the kimono and dressier shoes for a relaxing evening at home until I put my pjs on.

Once or twice per day. Pj - work clothes - lounge wear - pj again .
My lounge wear looks like pj anyway - lol.

It varies - sometimes three or four, sometimes only one.

But I think changing reduces laundry - I don't wash my clothes unless they need it so things might get worn for an hour or two then go back.

Once or twice at the most. The usual reason is going for a run. When I change for running, I generally change back into the same outfit of the day after showering, unless it has been cleaning day or we are going out, which is seldom. I have three main reasons for different outfits- casual around the house, running (or gym in winter), and casual social. Most non running days are one outfit days.

During the week:

Bathrobe for breakfast
Work clothes
Workout or athleisure for workout, if any, and evening lounging

If I have an event in the evening add or substitute a going-out outfit in addition to or in place of workout/athleisure

On the weekends, skip the work clothes and substitute casual day outfit like shorts and a tee in warm weather. Something nicer, maybe, if I'm going out.

From am when I wake up to pm when I go to sleep:
1. Loungewear to exercise gear
2. Exercise gear to daytime outfit..(work or weekend are similar)
3. Daytime outfit to either exercise gear again or to loungewear depending on the day. I might also go to more formal going out clothes.
4. Whichever I am wearing in step 3, back to loungewear.

Two to four times I guess?

At minimum, I’ll go from sleepwear to an out-in-the-world outfit and back to sleepwear. Usually, though, it’s sleepwear, then add a warmer layer (eg hoodie and joggers) to get up/walk dog/make breakfast. Then shower and daytime outfit, which varies a lot depending on the day (outdoor work vs indoor work, city weekend vs hiking weekend, etc.). I will often change back into chore-grade clothes in the afternoon if my daytime outfit was on the nicer side, or if my daytime outfit is very sweaty. And on very rare occasions I get dressed up in the evening for a dinner out or a party of some sort.

I mostly do the Mr Rogers these days … change shoes and topper/jacket for different activities. When the bakery was a hobby job, I’d do the office/bakery clothes switcheroo. But the weather can be so mercurial, and there are those days I go from sundress to thermals.
