Japanese beetles have arrived and are goobling up everything. Does anything eat them?

@ Joy - no, but a spray bottle with a mix of 1/6 dish soap (smelly, cheap Sunlight) and 5/6 water does the trick!

Thank you, Runcarla. Maybe I can save some fruit for the birds or grandchildren on the grape vines. The beetles get worse each day.. and will soon start on the butterfly bushes and rose of Sharon.

Our squash was attacked by squash bugs. My husband just sprayed them with insecticidal soap. Supposedly it is safe to use up to the day of harvest. So far, only one tomato is starting to color.
