OMG IK, you made me remember bubblegum jeans from the eighties! I didn't own them but I remember secretly laughing about the tough & pretty girls who wore them, because of their tackiness, and also because we more secretly wished we could be as popular as them.

I think jeggings are the best invention since sliced bread. I note, though, jeggings are like jodhpurs and are distinct from stockings: They're not jeggings if they're like sausage casing and transparent under light (!)

I like them. I have pair of what are called 'treggings' over here (the love child of trousers and leggings, I suppose) which are black (or they could be black jeggings?!) and I love them. I have large-ish calf muscles and I can't tuck skinny jeans into tall boots, as the very thick jeans seams dig in and they are excrutiating. But with my treggings (or black leggings) I can.

I wear long tops with them, though.
