SUPER AWESOME!

Earlier this week, Antje posted a Missoni for Target blouse for sale.

I am excited that I am the proud new owner of this blouse! I quickly paired it with the cardigan the Hen acquired for me in Virginia.

Antje is so wonderful! This blouse is going to pair brilliantly with SO much in my closet (not just the MfT).

Woohoo, thanks for posting a picture, Heather! Looks super, and it looks like the blouse fits perfectly. So glad this worked out (and that it shipped so quickly!) Much more fun to see another YLF member to wear the blouse than to return it to Target...

I kept 3 other Missoni for Target pieces that I adore, including a sweater vest in the pattern of your cardi.

Antji - I have that same sweater vest...it just arrived in the mail. I'm thinking of returning it because I can't figure out how to wear it. Any chance you can post a few pics with styling ideas? Maybe I will be inspired and keep rather than return. I tried it with a couple things and felt very preppy/school girl. I was hoping for a little more grown-up and edgy...

Enginemom, I adore sweater vests and frequently wear them over blouses and button-downs. And my overall style is not preppy, though occasionally I go for that in my work wardrobe but always with some twist. I think it's the combination of everything - e.g. I can imagine the look gets preppy quickly when the bottoms are classic, so maybe try a trendier piece, or something that doesn't look like an obvious match.Stylish and/or funky shoes will go a long way to make it less preppy (e.g., booties with a skirt), as will accessories like jewelry.

I wore my vest over a blouse with a pencil skirt in a funky way, and another day I wore it over a white button down with the Gap slim cropped pants, which was a great work look - possibly preppy, but I still felt a little funky just because the vest has such a great print and I wore trendy shoes.
