The Cat, suntiger, Angie, SW Ann, Joy, Sal, Thank you for your quick responses. I went to Steinmart and Target looking for fishnet nude hose. Steinmart had limited selections and Target was overwhelming. I have a few odds and ends here, including silk reflections that SW Ann suggested, so I decided I would make do with what I had or be at Dillards when they opened this AM. I decided I really did not want to go shopping this morning and had rather spend my time stressing over jewelry, etc, (you read that correctly) before leaving at 12:30 for the lunch.
After a good cup of hot wake me up coffee, I showered, and proceeded to use a good body lotion, moisturizers, makeup, do hair, etc, etc.
Guess what, for I the first time in my life, I wore a dressy skirt out of the house with no hose. And I felt comfortable and checked several times in the mirror. The temperature here today is 89f.
I am going to order nude fishnet hose from Nordies, to have on hand when I might want to wear them again. And I will probably go with no hosiery again when it is hot, but I don't think I am ready for winter weather and skirts with no hose.
