Hey, what happened to that post?

There was a post last week from a new forum member about how she was getting the side-eye from coworkers due to her sexy outfit choices. I've just realized the post isn't there. Angie and Greg must have taken it down. A lot of people wrote long, thoughtful responses and I thought she was being flip. I hope it's not because of anything I said?

It's probably because she's a troll. We get a lot of them here. People come here and want to talk about their sexy outfits....post pics.... It's unfortunate that we have to deal with it.

I was away visiting my Dad in the Netherlands last week so I didn't see the post. Who was the poster? As far as I know - we didn't take anything down.

I can't for the life of me remember who the poster was. It was a name I didn't recognize. I'd said something nice to her, then she was snarky (to Thirkellgirl in particular), so I said, Hey, there's no call for that, or something to that effect. But the post is gone, so it doesn't matter anyway.

Ha! Was it "Laura"? Was her head cut off in the photos? If so, that was a previous poster who it turned out was a complete fake (pulling photos from other sites). I guess Greg is taking extra precautions. : )

But that person (or "person") was never snarky. Just kind of clueless (wearing miniskirts and stiletto heels in very bizarre environments, etc.).

Unfortunately, I think the forum here has the reputation of being gullable because we try to be nice. Trolls come here and we try to interract with them honestly. I'm sure they get a huge kick out of it.

Yes Janet. First she posted a thread, then she posted pics. I reported it. It was a woman in very tall heels and very short skirts sitting down to where you were pretty much looking up her skirt. I'm not a prude, but that's not really fashion related.

I think there were at least two who were removed; the high heel one (i.e. "customizing"), then another with different heels and short skirt outfits. Not sure about the one who keeps trolling for women in leather leggings every six months or so.

We are definitely very lenient and kind here. So many members come honestly needing a lot of help and support, so we cultivate that attitude. Unfortunately it means we get taken sometimes.

I remember the one with top of head cut off "Laura". I ignore these posts because they're just BS......they get a kick out of thinking they're putting one over on everyone.
