Yeah for good news! The support networks that evolve in these situations like these (yours sounds incredible) renew my faith in people. It's great when people come together like that, isn't it? Hugs!

Alecia, it is staggering for me to see how everything and everyone just gelled around me. It is overwhelming. There have been friends ( both mine and my husband's ) and neighbors who have offered to take vacation time to stay with me. Even our house cleaning service offered 4 free cleanings ! I asked that they pass it on to someone who is not as supported or financially stable as we are. It is sooooo humbling.

Isabel - somehow I missed your original thread about this (I just went back now and read it.) I am so sorry that you are going through this - very glad that the lumpectomy went well and that you are surrounded by good friends and family. Please know that I am remembering you in my prayers and thinking about you often - and please let me know if there is anything I can do at my end to help you get through this. Hugs - and love. WOW! I am so amazed and humbled by your positive outlook! Anyone dealing with/who have overcome cancer is a superhero in my book!

It is obvious to me from your other threads that you are a generous woman with such a kind and loving heart for others. It is no wonder that so many people have rallied around you in your time of need.
