Hanna - I have to laugh because your "vintage" oxfords are probably from the late 80's or early 90's, when I wore the look the first go around! Does that mean I am "vintage" now too? Don't answer that!

Anyway - you look really good in these types of outfits! I love your sense of adventure in fashion!

Hanna, you look great! I really like your sense of style and it definitely works on you. I might be wrong, but I think it's not in a small part because you're young and can pull off "vintage". I also might be too conservative
Tarzy, I also had a very similar pair in the 90s that I think I got rid of a while back. They were also Nine West.

lol - my bad on the "vintage" part - that is how they were sold to me, and not being from america myself, i just assumed they were! put it down to my lack of cultural fashion sense please, and not to mean that anyone in this forum is "vintage" in any way!

Hanna I think you look great. I especially like the look with the brown cord jacket!

Hanna - no offense taken at all! At your age they are vintage! It's really fun seeing you put together these outfits that look so good!

Actually you are making me recall that I had a pair of black buckle oxfords with a chunky heel in the early 90s that I wore all over Manhattan. Oooh, that's so helpful because I have a good visual now. If I could find something like that in brown, I'd be in business!

Hanna DOES look great. I don’t think Hanna’s look is about the shoes at all. In fact, it’s incidental. Her look is completely about her scarves, the way she layers and her oozing femininity. Still a hard look to pull off these boyish flat oxfords. Well done Hanna for getting it right!

*blush* so many kind words! thank you all for the encouragement; it's only recently that i feel i've begun to come into my own style, so it's great to hear such positive feedback! i will definitely be rocking this look once it gets warmer.
