Has this ever happened to you?

During NAS I ordered the Tahari Moto in Merlot. It was a beautiful jacket, and fit very nicely. I decided to keep the navy Cole Haan jacket from Macy's instead for several reasons, one being that the Merlot color was a little too muddy for me. Lo and behold, I noticed the jacket came in olive! It was on sale, but not as good as during NAS. I ordered it. It took a long time to be delivered - eleven days. I was getting very impatient. Yesterday my husband came home with two identical boxes. Inside were identical olive jackets. I checked my account, and I did not accidentally order two jackets. Why couldn't they have been different colors?! Just kidding. I'm on hold with Nordstrom customer service right now.

Just spoke with CS and one jacket came from a store and one from the vendor.

Yes, it's happened to me, at Target with laundry hampers. I didn't want either one, but they'd only let me return one, because there was no record of the other purchase.

LOL, I got an email from Nordstroms saying that they were still working on a back order from August. I had completely forgotten about it.

LOL! Yes, it has happened to me several times. Easy enough to remedy. I have also received items that I didn’t order.

We once had two expensive large screen TVs delivered to our house. about 3 days apart. Some company could have lost a few thousand dollars on that one. The silvery company would not let us refuse delivery, so the seller had to pay for a return pick up. They were kind of surprised when we called them.

I had boots from Zappos just show up. My order had arrived no problem. The box had been everywhere, even China. Turns out it was a missing order for someone that was missing for many months. The story of the traveling boots.

Twice recently I've received packages from Nordstrom with only the item inside, no paperwork anywhere.

I think with the quantity of online ordering and shipping they just have a percentage of error built in. And given how much we order online, we are likely to have this happen. I understood more with the item I ordered on the last day of NAS, but was surprised it happened recently. Luckily I have a Nordstrom nearby, so I return in person.

Just the other day I received two Ted Baker totes from Nordstrom Rack after ordering one. I wasn't billed for the second one but ended up returning them both this morning.

Um, well today, I got someone else’s insulin in the mail... and it’s a thing that needs refrigeration and they want me to send it back... It was addressed to me, but their vials (I don’t use vials) and paperwork were inside...

Did Nordstrom just gift you a leather jacket??

If this happened to me and they didn't take it back, I guess I'd look for a way to pay forward some karma. Maybe make a donation to charity or something?

Approprio, yes, they did. However, I called them and let them know what happened, and sent it back. Even though it was their mistake, it wasn't right to keep it.

My karma for this might be my CASA kid's soccer team made it to the state championship!!!

Mentions of Nordstrom Rack remind me that I once had a hard time returning a Caslon top I didn't want. They had canceled the order, saying it was out of stock, but then they sent one anyway. It didn't look right on me.
