Has anyone seen this Sam Edelman vest?

I just received the olive anorak and really like it. I looked at
Nordstrom and this vest seems like something I would like too. The vest
is very useful for my weather. I'm thinking maybe I could justify
both? Has anyone seen it? The color says gray, but it doesn't look
that grey on my screen. It also looks like it might run bigger than the
jacket?

I have not seen this vest but I have a very similar navy blue vest that I bought on a whim from the Gap a couple of years ago and I am pleasantly surprised at how frequently I reach for it. Even around the house when there is a chill, outdoors, it goes with everything else I wear. I heartily encourage you to try this and maybe it will work well for you.

ETA I doubt you would wear your new anorak indoors, right?

If I needed another vest I would order this. I love the longer length and the fur trim. Vests are so useful -- very different from an anorak.

Sheila - I definitely agree they can be useful. I *may* have several other vests, including fur vests, that I reach for constantly in the winter. In my climate they are more useful than most other coverings. And the anorak is certainly too heavy for indoors.
Jill58 - Need, or lack thereof, is probably the issue. But I'm with you and love the length and fur collar drama of this one. So despite having other vests, I could definitely see this one being the workhorse!

I almost never wear any puffy vests in my snowy Canadian weather.

Any milder climate, I might though. Like the PNW.

I ordered the anorak, but am returning. I loved the white fur look, but the anorak just did not fit right. I would consider ordering the vest, but I do have several vests, and can't justify another vest now, whereas I could the anorak if it fit.

I believe if I were you I would go for both.

I see vests as a better indoor item than for outdoor warmth. The fur trim looks nice on this one. The color looks grey on my screen.

I wear vests a lot in winter, especially when I'm running errands. This one looks nice, but doesn't look grey to me.

I love vests like this, even in our Michigan winters, on days when I am just getting in and out of the car. So much less bulky than big winter coats.

I'm going to check this one out in person at a store tomorrow. I can report back on the actual color if anyone needs me to.

Thank you for the feedback! I agree with that vests are much more useful in certain climates. My climate is warmer. That with my drafty house make vests very useful. Plus I like the look. I ordered it and am hoping it is long enough to not look ridiculous over long cardigans. I am hoping for more of a grey than brownish or taupe color. Julesegr, if you happen to see it I would be interested to hear about the door irl. Even though I ordered it, I am very curious and not very patient

Ha, ha, ha! I keep saying that I'm through ordering, but I just ordered this *just to see*. I find vests useful as well, but non-Petite items are a crap shoot for me. A number of reviews say the color is a pictured, but their monitors are neither yours nor mine. . .

Mine is supposed to arrive this week. It is in transit. I'll report back on color etc. I'm worried it will be too boxy. I didn't size down.

My vest arrived yesterday. I was right, I should have sized down. The color is really pretty. It is grey indoors to me, but it is a warmer tone and has a sheen to it that sometimes makes it appear brownish. I love the drama of it and the fur on the collar is a really pretty color. As it is too big, it is going back. I contemplated exchanging for the smaller size but decided against that because a cooler grey or even a cooler brown color would match my wardrobe better.

Mine is scheduled to arrive on Monday. It's the smallest size, but I am concerned about the color. But today at Uniqlo I tried on a very light weight down coat -- sweater weight -- and the sleeves weren't too long! In gray. So that may be an option if the vest doesn't work out.
