Happy Diwali! I love those colors together. You are beautiful.

SO unexpected and gorgeous. Thanks for sharing this wonderful photo. I hope you had a beautiful time!

Happy Diwali! you look fab!.

Happy Diwali! You look wonderful!

I've never seen you in a suit Una! You look so good!

Happy Diwali! <3

Thanks so much, ladies! My chuni is tied this way so I could cook and serve... But bandolier style sounds cooler! It was a fun party and several friends invited desi folks who are new to town, which is always fun. I did a chocolate fountain for the kids and ended up covered in chocolate by the end of the night - a sweet ending!

This outfit is actually tomato red and gold - my camera is dead so I had to use my phone for the picture.

Ramya, kheer sounds lovely. I made shrikand and we had the chocolate fountain and a birthday cake for a friend.

You are beyond stunning in this outfit. I hope you enjoyed the party.

The red and gold is fabulous. I love the shoes you chose to wear with the outfit. I've only worn Indian dress a handful of times in my life and was always stymied by shoes as I'm not a sandal or pumps person. Happy Diwali!

Fruitful, these are just my house slippers but thank you! Shoes for Indian outfits are even harder in a cold climate....

I just thought they were an Una-type cool shoe! I see Indian people in the street in winter wearing sandals or thongs (flip flops - chuppels?). It makes me cold just looking at them (Mind you, (Anglo) people visiting Melbourne from Sydney also do the same thing, then complain about the cold while refusing to stop baring their feet!)

So incredibly beautiful Una

Wow Una! So pretty! You are lovely!
