OK STOP - I'm in tears now!!!

Thank you all so much for the awesome birthday wishes and kind words!

Today (in Aus) is my bday, so you can imagine how fabulous it was for me just now to log on and see all these beautiful messages - especially after having to actually remind my girls what today is LOL

It has been made even more special reading that Jasmine is doing better too!

The plan for today is to attend the school's cross country (thank goodness the little kids only have to run 500m!) then we'll be heading up to town where I am booked for a mani/pedi before dropping the girls to their dad's, and heading out for birthday dinner and drinks with some fabulous friends/relatives.

My new shoes will be worn on their maiden voyage tonight so I hope I don't break an ankle LOL!

As for goodies - well nothing yet, and I don't expect a whole lot of pressies, but I am intending on going shopping tomorrow morning to hopefully find a winter coat or something else equally fabulous!

I will keep you posted on my shopping though!

And once again, thank you so much - I'm going to have puffy teary eyes all day now!

I've never been able to put my finger on it, but Angie was spot on: I love that lively and mischievous twinkle in your eyes and I am so inspired by your enthusiasm for fashion and the outfits you put together (they keep getting better and better).

I had an absolutely fabulous weekend! Friday night's dinner & drinks were nice and quiet, then Saturday I had breakfast with friends, went shopping, my brother and his friend took me go-carting, then my brothers friend took me to the boxing Saturday night (something I had never done before but actually quite enjoyed - from the athletic perspective - still can't get my head around people wanting to hit each other though...), then another breakfast with a friend before finally coming home, and attending the school fair with my darling girls who were back from their dads!

I think I'm going to take a year to recover though LOL

Once my new shopping is dry (I've washed everything this morning), I'll be sure to take photo's and show off my haul - I didn't buy a lot, but what I did buy I'm very happy with!

Actually, the highlight of my weekend was this gorgeous young girl (well, she was 23, so not a girl!), telling me how stylish I was on Saturday night after the boxing! I'll post a pic later with my outfit!
