Thank you so much for all the wonderful, thoughtful wishes and words! I am so touched, I actually got near tears reading some of these messages.

I have been offline most of today, and my birthday style has consisted of a swimsuit, coverup and flip-flops. The weather here was spectacular, so I took today off and headed a couple of hours east to the ocean! Spent the day lying on a beach, reading a book, watching the waves (and people-watching), and then finished the day with a beer AND a margarita and some yummy Mexican food for dinner. Hubs and my stepsons are working out of town so we're celebrating together later on, but this was a nice day of solitude and relaxation.

Yesterday my niece and some friends joined me at my house for a steamed crab feast (anyone who has spent a lot of time near the Chesapeake Bay should appreciate that!) and birthday cake, so I'm feeling very loved and appreciated!
