Happy birthday, dear Angie!
Add me to the long list of women whose lives have been changed since joining the YLF community.
You are so kind (and kindly honest), generous, warm-hearted and welcoming that it's hard to think of anyone who wouldn't feel at home here. I love how I relate to what I'm wearing on the outside, and don't think it's to the detriment of building myself up as a whole, well-rounded and more self-accepting person either.
I love this community and though I may be lackadaisical in my appearance here, not a day goes by when I'm not thinking about YLF on some level. I wish I could meet everyone who posts here, and consider myself so fortunate that I've met you face to face!
It's not only about the fashion--the sense I get from your posts is your joie de vivre...you and Greg, surrounded by wonderful friends, family and pets, taking a huge, juicy bite out of life! All the places you travel to and the friends you have waiting for you there. The delicious food you enjoy in fine company, and the photos you take showing streets around the world, bursting with life. Whatever you do, it seems like you plunge in gleefully and with your whole heart. It shows!
(And I love your writing and will keep pressing that you are, in fact, a FINE writer. Don't worry about not enjoying it. Most of us who self-identify as writers--we often do NOT enjoy the writing process.
I'm sure you're having a grand day with your best, most favorite people. Thank you for being such a rare and invaluable light on the internet, and in our lives!
