Handbag color recommendation requested

I'd love some YLF advice about an upcoming handbag (purse) purchase. What color should I get? I've mostly had brown and black, but I'm ready to do something "wild" - get a colorful handbag. : ) I wear a lot of blue and "cool" colors. I'm am blonde and fair. Should I go for red or yellow or ???? Thanks for your advice.

I'm highly partial here, but I saw go for a red bag! It will work well with your colour pallet, be the perfect item to brighten up dark winter outfits, and possibly be a great transition piece for evening occasions if chosen right!

I think that adding color through a handbag is great. I agree that red is a perfect choice, and I get tons of compliments on my red bags, but if you find a purse you love in another fun color, go for it. You really can't go wrong!

I vote for a light bright blue! Gorgeous for winter months. QVC's website is a great place to browse bags and color options before you hit the stores. Check out the colors Tignanello offers in leather bags like this:

I have a red bag that I use a lot, and a yellow bag that I get a lot of compliments on. I also like Georgia's idea of going for a bright blue. I think the sky is the limit with handbag colors! I used to be matchy matchy, but that was pre-YLF. They are a perfect way to add a pop of color.

I vote for purple! It would look gorgeous with your blues and other "cool" colors - also, perfect with both black and brown!

Thank you all for your input. I'm going to look tomorrow. I'll wear a typical outfit and try all of the colors you suggested. I can't wait to see how they look! Thank you, again for your ideas and suggestions.
