I tried to give up on this shoe, but it wouldn't let me. Angie said that it might not work on higher volume feet, and this is usually enough to make me forget a shoe immediately. But then I saw it on a very stylish woman (in black, and she was wearing all black) and I swooned.

It was hard to order because it came in ALL my favorite colors--black, cobalt, blush, and citron! In the end I ordered the snake print because it's low contrast against my skin yet also ties in with the grays and blacks I wear so often. This is a combination of attributes that I rarely find. (Currently it looks like only black and cobalt are available--here's hoping they restock! I would take either one though.)

After about three weeks the shoe has become THE most complimented shoe that I've ever worn. EVERYONE likes it. Guys, girls, fashion conscious, and non-fashion-conscious. My 80-year-old mother said, "I love your shoes! They look like Peter Pan came from outer space!"

It is reasonably comfortable. It is after all dead flat and pointy toed. However the straps mean that the foot doesn't have to work to keep it on, the way it might in a ballet flat or a D'Orsay flat. It works for standing and for walking around. Sometimes I just feel like wearing a flat shoe, but I need to be pulled together. This shoe fits the bill.

The shoe fits true to the size I usually wear, which is sized up half a size to accommodate the width of my foot. If you've been wondering if you'd like it, I totally recommend trying it!

Bonus pic of my Farmer's Market outfit, in which I accidentally matched my market bag down to my dad's ring!
