Halogen loafers?

I really like these and think they would play nicely with a pair of black cropped trousers I got from CM. But the black is backordered in my size (half up from my regular size per the recos) through September!

Worth a try? Or give the silver a whirl? I would probably wear the black ones more but I *am* making efforts to try visually "lighter" footwear.

I have the wheat version on it's way to me. Should arrive tomorrow. I tried the BP version last week, and while really cute, they are obviously for much higher volume feet than I have. I'm hoping this one will be better for a low-average volume foot.

BTW, I did find myself at DSW yesterday where I found the perfect-for-me black slide. Those came home with me.

As for the backorder, I would likely wait for the black since returns will start to be processed and ready for re-shipment soon.

Yes, I think NAS is a good time to try something new. I would get the silver if you like them, and if you have stuff to wear them with.

Since the black is backordered and may-or-may-not arrive (might arrive early, might be cancelled; I've experienced both with NAS backorders), I would order both colors. If you like the silver, you can always cancel the black before it ships.
