After seeing Mochi's and Suz's threads about this Halogen jacket - along with my husband's encouragement to "just order it" - here are the petite and regular sizes. Angie had commented that the jacket worked well for short necks, apples and bustier shapes. Check two out of three - short neck and tummy. Obviously not busty but thought I'd give it a try.

I've never had a leather jacket before (except my Spiegel lemming that hasn't been worn yet) and because of the price really need this to be a 9 or 10 to keep. I like it a lot, but am not sure which size or if the color is good on me. The petite is a closer fit in the shoulders, but not a deal breaker. The sleeves on the regular are too long.

By my measurements the petite is basically 1/4 inch smaller than the regular across the back and across the top of the shoulders. Honestly I really can't see a difference in the front length.

I'm not one who likes to show my face too often, but have done so here to get opinions on the color. The light was bright today, so maybe not good for evaluating color. The petite is actually just a tad darker than the regular size. The color in 1 is probably the most true to life.

It would most likely be worn more often with jeans and slacks.

Picture 2 is a collage of the petite and regular. The first picture here is with the black dress I recently posted about. In my head, the taupe boots weren't even a consideration with this jacket as I was thinking they were more orange than they are. I actually think they're close enough in color to wear together.
